Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about buying classic football shirts from us.
Are your shirts genuine?
Every listing is labelled Original (made in the era it represents) or Remake (a newly-made, unbadged era-style shirt). We inspect every original by hand and never sell counterfeits.
Why don’t you take payment online?
Many of our shirts are one-offs. After you order we check the shirt one last time, then contact you within 1 working day to confirm and arrange payment — by bank transfer, a secure payment link, or card over the phone. Your shirts are reserved for 48 hours.
What do your condition grades mean?
Mint: unworn/as new. Excellent: lightly worn, no notable flaws. Very Good: minor signs of age. Good: visible wear or a small repair, fully described. Every product page explains the grade.
How do I pick the right size?
Vintage sizing varies by era — 90s shirts run big, 70s and 80s shirts run small. Check our Size Guide and the pit-to-pit measurement on each listing.
How long does delivery take?
UK standard delivery takes 2–3 working days after payment, Europe 4–7, USA & Canada 6–10. See Shipping & Delivery for all rates.
Can I return a shirt?
Yes, within 14 days of delivery, unworn and unwashed. See our Returns & Refunds policy.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — we ship tracked to more than 60 countries. Import duties may apply outside the UK.
Can you find a specific shirt for me?
Often, yes. Tell us the team, season and size and we’ll search our network of collectors.
Do you buy shirts?
We do — single shirts or whole collections. Send photos via our contact form for a fair offer.
Do you print names and numbers?
We don’t add new printing to original shirts, as it affects their value. Where a shirt already has a name or number, it’s shown in the photos.
How should I wash a vintage shirt?
Turn it inside out, hand wash or use a cool 30°C delicate cycle, and dry flat away from direct heat. Never tumble dry or iron over printing.
